2023.04 Amsterdam and Berlin (Part 1)

Our next trip was another family trip.  Originally, the idea was we’d accompany my mom to Paris in the fall of 2023.  That plan and destination disappeared once she found out that there was a once-in-a-lifetime exhibit of Vermeer’s works at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, during the spring of 2023.  After a bit of juggling, the plan turned into celebrating Easter with relatives in Germany, a bunch of days in Berlin, and then Vermeer.  We would then return home, and she’d continue onward to England to visit a family friend before she’d return home.

2023.01 New York City and Caribbean Cruise (Part 1)

If you’ve been reading since I started posting about our trips since […flips back to first post…] 2017, we’ve predominately preferred choose our own adventure. This time was quite the opposite with almost everything planned as we were joining Little Miss’ family (parents, sister & children) for a cruise. Cruise ship. Not car cruise, like 2019.

2022.12 German Christmas Markets (Part 14) – Flight Amsterdam to Toronto

Our time away on vacation was coming to an end.  We had a non-stop flight home with Air Canada, from Amsterdam to Toronto.  This was excellent because even with Little Miss starting to recover having no extra connections or silly flight routing on our way home to use up her energy.

2022.12 German Christmas Markets (Part 1) – Plan & Flight to Amsterdam

Why return to Germany to do the same thing?  To start, our adventure in 2021 was impacted by pandemic restrictions, so we didn’t have the full experience, and we had a return flight to Amsterdam that had to be used.  So let’s combine the two, and go.
