We just made the short walk from our dinner location back to our room for the night and stopped. We looked up into the night’s sky, and saw something we don’t see at home — the night’s sky. Not just any night’s sky, but a brilliant night sky devoid of light and air pollution. The result is nothing short of spectacular.
We participated in the most popular activity that the Cairns area has to offer — a trip to the Great Barrier Reef!
The original Jetstar flight I had booked got cancelled and was prompted with either a flight leaving Brisbane at 8:30pm or 6:30am. Guess which one I selected?
Our flight landed and taxied to a gate without delay. For us continuing onward we could leave our carry-on onboard and were then informed to return to the gate in 30 minutes. What can you do in 30 minutes?
