Tickets for the Vermeer special exhibition sold out quickly, and in retrospect I’m glad happy that we bought tickets, as the exhibit lived up to expectations. But first, we had sometime to explore Amsterdam.

Tickets for the Vermeer special exhibition sold out quickly, and in retrospect I’m glad happy that we bought tickets, as the exhibit lived up to expectations. But first, we had sometime to explore Amsterdam.
During our visit to Berlin we didn’t visit the typical tourist sites. Now to be fair, we did luck out and drove past a few of them instead.
The Easter weekend started well, however, not everything worked out as planned.
We stayed one night in Rotterdam before heading to visit family for Easter. The short train ride had us avoiding the extremely high hotel costs in Amsterdam. Considering we didn’t have plans to visit anything in Amsterdam for the day, it was a chance to sample another spot in the Netherlands.
We had three full days to explore New York City, and honestly by the end of our visit, we both agreed we need to return as there is so much to do.
