When the opportunity presents itself where you can visit four business class lounges before your flight, would any sane person say no? Good, because here’s our lounge hopping before our flight back to Toronto.

There are so many hotels in London, selecting one could be an overwhelming experience. Our choice was the combination of; a central location, and a Hilton property, because we could use Hilton’s loyalty benefit of staying five nights and using the point cost of four nights. Without needing an indoor pool, and wanting to be close to an underground station, I selected the Conrad London St. James.
For our journey from Edinburgh to London, we took a train. We weren’t in a rush, so didn’t need to take a plane, and definitely didn’t need to spend hours driving a one-way car rental. This also enabled us to stop in Newcastle for a visit, and a lunch. Now the next choice, which train?
