Our final zoo visit was to the Australian Reptile Park. Situated just under an hour north of Sydney it was an easy drive. This would her last chance to get her fill of animals. She made the most of it!

We had a leisurely paced day at the Australia Zoo. This zoo, owned by the Irwin family served as the base for Steve Irwin “The Crocodile Hunter”. If you want to see lots of pictures of animals, then this is the post for you!
We had a full day to explore Napier. What’s in Napier? It’s located in a wine region of New Zealand, home to the National Aquarium, and its downtown is one of a few that were built in an Art Deco style.
While planning this trip Amber was certain that she wanted to visit as many zoos as possible to be able to see and pet the animals of Australia up close.
Our first stop on was Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary. Instead of going as a regular guest, she noted that there was the ability to arrive near their closing time to have a night tour.

Both of us were happy to sleep in knowing that we had no long drive to the next hotel. Without having to continue our long drives today we found something cool just around 150km (one-way) away from Melbourne.
