Enjoy this photo heavy post. This has a summary of things that caught my eye while we were in London and of the many things we saw, such as the Lego Store in Leicester Square, our walk along the edge of St. James Park, and more.
There are so many hotels in London, selecting one could be an overwhelming experience. Our choice was the combination of; a central location, and a Hilton property, because we could use Hilton’s loyalty benefit of staying five nights and using the point cost of four nights. Without needing an indoor pool, and wanting to be close to an underground station, I selected the Conrad London St. James.
For our journey from Edinburgh to London, we took a train. We weren’t in a rush, so didn’t need to take a plane, and definitely didn’t need to spend hours driving a one-way car rental. This also enabled us to stop in Newcastle for a visit, and a lunch. Now the next choice, which train?
This post highlights some of the food we had during our visit to Scotland’s capital. Little Miss certainly selected some great spots for us to dine at.
Our hotel for our five night stay in Edinburgh was the Bruntsfield Hotel. Just a short bus ride from Royal mile, it was a great choice in hotel for our stay that was close to central Edinburgh, but being just a short bus ride away. Excellent food, decent sized room, it’s an excellent option when visiting Edinburgh.
