2023.09 San Francisco (Part 3)
We didn’t spend a lot of time in San Francisco proper, but we certainly made sure to spend the little time we did at one of the city’s biggest tourist attractions, the Fisherman’s Wharf.
2023.09 San Francisco (Part 2) – Hampton inn san jose
Why didn’t we stay with relatives when we visited them? Simple, a lack of space (not everybody has spare rooms waiting for visitors), and they had a young one who was dictating their hours and lack of sleep. We gladly gave them space and I chose a straight-forward hotel for our stay, a Hampton Inn in San Jose.
2023.09 San Francisco (Part 1)
Little Miss had relatives who moved out to the Bay area. Not missing a chance (or excuse?) to explore a new spot in the USA, we were happy to spend an extra long weekend to fly out to the area. Now due to their young one, and only being in the area for a few days we didn’t cover everything in the area. But we did enjoy our time visiting with them and what we got to see.
2023.04 Amsterdam and Berlin (Part 9)
Our time in Europe was over. We had successfully amended my mom’s ticket so that she’d still be able to fly home as originally planned. For us, we had the early flight back to Toronto. When I was offered an upgrade offer, after a [moderately? or very?] stressful vacation, I selected “yes” without consulting Little Miss. We’d just have to put up with comfortable seats for the flight home. 😉
2023.04 Amsterdam and Berlin (Part 8)
Tickets for the Vermeer special exhibition sold out quickly, and in retrospect I’m glad happy that we bought tickets, as the exhibit lived up to expectations. But first, we had sometime to explore Amsterdam.
