2025.10 UK & More – Heathrow Terminal 4 Hilton

We had a morning flight to hop across the English Channel, and I had decided we would stay at a nearby airport hotel. For us, departing from Terminal 4, the Hilton Terminal 4 hotel was an easy choice largely because of its proximity to the terminal.

Location & Check-in

As I mentioned, this hotel is located within the world of London Heathrow, being very close to terminal 4. Obviously, this terminal is convenient if you have a departure or arrival from Terminal 4, and want a short walk, without vehicle traffic to contend with between the hotel and terminal. There is a second hotel building (Holiday Inn & Crowne Plaza) connected to the same covered walkway if you want other hotel options.

Give yourself a good five to ten minutes to travel from the terminal to the hotel or vice versa. Plan for extra time if you are pushing a cart full of luggage.

If you’re driving to the hotel, follow the signs for terminal 4, and then as you approach the terminal area, there is a turn for the Hilton. Both the covered walkway and road will deliver you to the main lobby. It’s a large spacious area that also has a large restaurant area that is also the location of breakfast.

When we arrived, we were upgraded to an executive room, granting us access to the executive lounge. Our room had an interior view, so we overlooked the restaurant area, but that wasn’t an issue as we had an early flight and were only staying one night. Staff at check-in were friendly and helpful to point out key locations; of the elevators, buffet breakfast area, and the executive lounge.

Executive Lounge

After we dropped our luggage in the room we visited the lounge. It was packed, so no pictures of the space, however a few pictures of the snacks available:

The food wasn’t anything to get excited about, however served well as a snack for me as I then returned the rental car, and upon returning to the hotel we had a late dinner in the main restaurant. No pictures from our dinner, but it appeared that the restaurant was significantly short staffed as the lone server appeared to be waiting on over 15+ guests. Our meals were satisfactory, but were valued because we didn’t need to drive or walk far from our hotel room to get to it.

One tell that this Hilton is located near the airport is that there was a plane silhouette as part of the room numbers.

Room

After having a rental car for two weeks, there was a lot of repacking required before our flight. The downside of having a rental car for two weeks was that suddenly items that had been hidden in the vehicle now needed to either be packed, or thrown out. With the room quickly cluttered with repacking underway, the only picture I snagged was of the washroom. It was fine, it’s compact style reminded me of the Rotterdam Hilton from our 2023 visit. The bed was fine, and there was no issue finding electrical outlets to charge up our electronics.

Breakfast

The food quality was much improved in the morning. With an early start to our day, we arrived just around 6am when the hot food for the buffet was available in addition to the many continental items. Here’s a slideshow of most items that were available:

I found the selection more than enough to start our day. With energy for the day, we finished packing our luggage, and headed to reception to check-out. Check-out was seamless. The most helpful part was that there were airport trolleys just before the covered walkway. This was extremely helpful because we had quite a lot of luggage (There many UK food items we wanted to bring home and found treats for friends and family). The walkway is covered, but not climate controlled. That didn’t matter as I was warm once we walked into Terminal 4 to find our check-in counter for our flight to Amsterdam.

Overall, this is a consistent Hilton property, and using Hilton loyalty points certainly made the stay affordable, as it’s didn’t cost us anything out of pocket.
