Tickets for the Vermeer special exhibition sold out quickly, and in retrospect I’m glad happy that we bought tickets, as the exhibit lived up to expectations. But first, we had sometime to explore Amsterdam.

We returned to the same hotel that we stayed for one night back in December 2022, this time Little Miss wasn’t under the weather so we were both able to enjoy the hotel.

During our visit to Berlin we didn’t visit the typical tourist sites. Now to be fair, we did luck out and drove past a few of them instead.

The biggest attraction that my mom wanted to visit while in Berlin was to visit the Pergamon Museum. While she was recovering, we made time to visit. I won’t include the hundreds of pictures I took but tried to pare it down to a small sample.
2023.04 Amsterdam and Berlin (Part 4)
We left late afternoon to drive to Berlin. Being Easter Monday, traffic was okay, and we didn’t have any delays. We arrived in the city as the sunlight was fading, headed to the middle of the city and easily found our hotel for the week.
