Upon arriving at our hotel after a 14 hour drive this hotel offered everything we needed. Quick and friendly check-in, easy to find room that was spotless, and quiet!

With one full day to explore the city, we certainly made the most of it. That was thanks in part with the jet lag getting us up and ready for the day before our first stop was even open!
Rydges is an Australian chain of hotels. I selected this hotel driven by its proximity to Parliament (both current and old), and several galleries. We arrived without issue, however our initial check-in was a little rocky, but improved very quickly.
