2021.09 – Fairmont Hotel Macdonald, Edmonton
After an uneventful three hour drive from Calgary International Airport, we arrived in Edmonton and easily found our hotel. Overlooking the North Saskatchewan River, it wasn’t hard to miss.
2020.10 – Part 3 – Fairmont Gold at Banff Springs Hotel
I enjoy hearing the up-sell. Sometimes it’s overrated, other times, it’s worth every moment. For our stay at Banff Springs, we elected for Fairmont Gold. Why? Complimentary breakfast, afternoon snacks, separate check-in counter, a lounge available for use throughout the day and a dedicated service team. We liked staying here a lot.
2020.10 – Part 2 – Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel
Are you looking to stay at a hotel that is as impressive as its location? How about a hotel that has a museum as part of its lobby? This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience to stay at the “Castle in the Rockies”.
Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel
I booked this hotel using reward points to ensure that we’d have a short walk from hotel to the airport for our morning flight back to Toronto.
