With one full day to explore the city, we certainly made the most of it. That was thanks in part with the jet lag getting us up and ready for the day before our first stop was even open!

With one full day to explore the city, we certainly made the most of it. That was thanks in part with the jet lag getting us up and ready for the day before our first stop was even open!
Saturday felt like the hottest day of our trip, and we were about to spend as much time as possible of it outside watching the pinnacle of endurance racing. With giddy excitement, I couldn’t wait to head to the track to make sure no amount of traffic and crowds would make us late for the start of the race.
Our final full day in Paris had us visiting the Louvre Museum. We had visited it before on our honeymoon, however given its vast size and extensive collection we wanted to return to explore even more of it. If you want a blog post heavy on pictures, then this one is for you!
Sunday was definitely at a leisurely pace as we had one goal – afternoon tea. Anything else would be a bonus, and we came across three!
This was one of the two days during our visit that we spent in central London. We had three goals for this particular day: visit St. Paul’s Cathedral, the British Museum, and attend live theatre.
We headed into the city after breakfast. Public transit is right in front of the hotel with a bus stop located at the edge of the hotel property. It is only a handful of stops to Hounslow West station where we transferred to the tube for the rest of the trip to our first stop.
