DAILY UPDATE #15 – AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND 2018

return to sydney

Our starting point this morning had an outstanding sunrise.  Yes, I took that picture walking towards our rental car in the motel parking lot.  Our return trip to Sydney is a success.  I cannot believe it’s already been two weeks that we have been in Australia, and we have covered a lot of territory already.  How much?  I got the odometer reading as I returned the rental car this evening.

DAILY UPDATE #13 – AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND 2018

Day in downtown (CBD) Melbourne

Today is a milestone — we are driving 0km in a car today. No plane rides either. After 14 days, we have a day where our modes of transport are either our feet or riding a streetcar, err, tram to explore “CBD” (Central Business District) Melbourne.  I think we both feel in a form of Nirvana today as we’re aren’t in transit at all today.  Why am I posting so early?  We have plans this evening!

AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND 2018 – PART 2

Flight Toronto to Amsterdam

We arrived on the jetway in time to allow the airport staff who provided wheelchair assistance to passengers to exit the jetway. Upon presentation of our boarding passes we turned left, walked through the Economy Comfort zone (it has extra leg room vs. Economy) and entered the front portion of the plane. Oh happy day!
